Monday evening as I was driving home from work, my 17 year old niece called, and asked if I could take her and her friend to a concert. Her friend couldnt go to this concert in Chicago without an adult going. So, Sara calls and asks me to take her, to be the 'responsible adult'. Ugh.
When did I become the responsible adult? Am I really that old? Am I no longer cool or hip or trendy or trend-setting??? What happened to my youth?
I dont like feeling old. I dont like looking at others and think, 'they are younger than me.' I feel like I've missed the young life boat.
Uh-oh.
Insert retail therapy. I think a new shirt or necklace or ring might make me feel better.
